Zari, Eddy Kenzo, Bobi Wine: Who is Uganda’s biggest export after coffee?

Eddy Kenzo Zari Hassan Bobi Wine

Latest on our desks is a discussion, After Coffee, Who is the second biggest exporter of Uganda.

We all love the limelight, but I think it finally got an easier way to scale. In Uganda, our celebrities have suppressed the local market and they are in for the international market. Of late we are looking at the Big 3 socialites who make Uganda’s headlines on the national level.

We understand you might have your favorite artist but am sure they didn’t make it up to this level. Here, we are talking of artists who have gone throughout Africa and are recognized by netizens and media houses in different countries.

If you here thinking of Gravity Omutujju, A pass, Ykee Benda, King Saha, Nina Roz, Azawi, Fresh Kid, David Lutalo, Bebe cool, Ray P, Mike Winnie, Pallaso, Chameleon, Weasel, Bad Black, Crystal Pandal, Faridah Nakazibwe, and the list keeps on going, my friend, we are not here for those and we suggest you keep those for the local market battles and media channels.

Here we are talking of the biggest exporter, not local retail shops.

How are you going to rate the biggest exporter?

Well, we shall look through their following and impact on different social media channels, music reach on an international level, shows, awards, and panels ( International not local ), and what value do they carry.

How and who started this battle?

Hahhaha! Thanks for the question, it all started on Instagram from none other than a female socialite, social media influencer Zari Hassan alias the boss lady on her social media accounts.

When we scroll through our archives, it’s not our first time seeing the socialite praise herself but I think this time she hit it harder.

“Must be the Ugandan sauce.”  says the boss lady

“After coffee, I must be the 2nd biggest export from Uganda.” Says the boss lady

Do you mean other Ugandan celebrities won’t participate in this battle?

The export battle is for everyone but there are conditions to meet. First, as long as you hit the international level.

I understand you feel pity for your favorite artists who didn’t make it up to this level, but with postdator, we are going to subdivide the battle into 4 namely Retail, wholesale, WareHousing and export battle but first, we shall go with what trending and later you will get to see your favorite artist climb across to the export level.

So, what makes Zari, Eddy Kenzo, and Bobi wine stand out from the rest?
